Sustainability Starts With SU!

A sustainable, vibrant and just planet begins on campus by minimizing the environmental impacts of our operations and cultivating a resilient community through our curricular and co-curricular experiences.

Sustainability isn’t a buzz word or catch phrase here — it is our responsibility. From a solar array that provides 30% of the electricity consumed on campus to student-first learning opportunities like our Beekeeping Club, our commitment to sustainability is strong.

Students can not only work on sustainability projects but can propose their own and get funding through our Green Fund.

Year in Review: Our favorite things from 2023

A historic, record-breaking capital campaign, compelling faculty-student research, a world-renowned musician and much more — it’s been another memory-making year at Susquehanna University. Here are some of our favorite stories from 2023.

Susquehanna installs electric vehicle chargers

In another step forward in Susquehanna’s journey toward a sustainable future, the university has installed four publicly accessible electric vehicle chargers on campus. Installation of the Level 2 EV chargers was supported by funding from Susquehanna’s Student Government Association, with partial reimbursement from the state Department of Environmental Protection’s Driving PA Forward program.
